Test & Trace

On entering the premises, we'd appreciate you scanning the QR code so we can adhere to the Test & Trace programme. If you're unable to do this, we have a quick form for you to fill in with your details.

Your details will ONLY be used in order to contact you if we have a confirmed case.


To try and keep you and ourselves as safe as possible and in line with Government guidelines, a maximum of two people from separate households will be permitted inside at any one time, in order to adhere to social distancing.

If you come as a couple, you will be able to enter together along with another customer from a different household, as long as you are happy to keep to social distancing.

Hand sanitiser and a face mask will be required. If you don't have your own, hand sanitiser will be provided for you upon entry and hand-made masks will be available for purchase.
If you have your own mask, it'd really help us if you can wear your own. Thank you.

You will of course be assisted and allowed to browse at your own pace but unfortunately you won’t be able to try garments on without assistance and advise from us. Although we won’t be able to psychically help with fitting, rest assured our usual excellent service will prevail in the end.

Should you wish to purchase a helmet, a throwaway balaclava will be issued to you to wear over your mask. If you are not able to safely leave your own helmet on your bike, it must be placed in the plastic bag we provide upon entry.


We are taking in repairs and alterations albeit these will take a little longer than usual.

Our normal shortening while you wait service may now be varied due to the furlough of machinists. If you think you may require this service please call 02476 466296 for an update on the appropriate time to visit.

However, if you can only visit when a machinist is not available, we can always mail your garment to you once the alteration has been completed.

We expect an influx of repairs after the lockdown so we advise getting them in early if you want to catch some of the remaining season.


Our mail order department has continued mostly as normal throughout lockdown and will continue to do so.

This is going to be very different for us and you and we ask for your patience while we adjust.
We apologise in advance if you are required to wait outside for a time but there will be tabled seating, a drink and a toilet (regularly sanitised) available.
